Life is going to be tough, unpredictable, and more than that unfair, but I've made my peace with it.
There will be people trying to hurt me, cheat me, push me around, pinch me where it hurts the most, but I've made my peace with them.
There will be moments where I will feel helpless, lost, defeated, burnt out, frustrated and probably lifeless too,but I've made my peace with that.
For every challenge life throws at me, I've enough in me to say "I've seen worse, bring it on", and I am at peace about it.
For every hurtful person I come across, I have even more caring friends, never letting my believe in selfless love down, and I am at peace about them.
For every tear that I shed on the sheer futility of this existence, there are the arms of my beloved to get lost into, and so I am at peace with everything in my life.
Me and my thots.......

Just a beautiful Poem..
Every night I empty my heart, but by morning it's full again.
Slow droplets of you seep in through the night's soft caress.
At dawn I overflow with thoughts of us,
An aching pleasure that gives me no respite
Love cannot be contained, the neat packaging of desire
Splits asunder, spilling crimson through my days
Long, languishing days that are now bruised tender with yearning
Spent searching for a fingerprint, a scent, a breath you left behind.

Devils of the past !!!
No one goes to the grave threadbare
Devils of the past gonna haunt you even there
What you did may have been done and gone
But the demons of the deed won't leave you alone
There are people you hurt, you made suffer
Cried their hearts out because of you
You may have left them far behind
But future makes sure you pay your due.
Devils of the past gonna haunt you even there
What you did may have been done and gone
But the demons of the deed won't leave you alone
There are people you hurt, you made suffer
Cried their hearts out because of you
You may have left them far behind
But future makes sure you pay your due.

Relationships
Relationships : A small note about them :
There are those who open you upto something new
Those that are old and familiar
Those that bring up lots of questions
Those that bring you somewhere unexpected
Those that bring you far from where you started
Those that bring you back
But the most exciting, challenging, and significant of ALL
Is the one that you have with yourself.....
And if you find someone to love the "you" you love....
Well thats just plain FANTABOLOUS :)

From a Book
Read it in a novel.
The context is that a librarian is trying to defend a book; rather a book termed as "sacrilege" .
So here is a conversation :
Most of the truly great books became great because they once defied or exceeded formula, banality, community tradition. These were the books that dared say something new or say it in a new way. These were the writings filled with fresh, sometimes shocking, ideas.
And we absolutely must support similar writing today. But How ?
One library dean though we should stand for selection as opposed to censorship - selection of the best books, based mainly on the presumed intent of the author and his sincerity of purpose. Selection, he said, begins with a presumption in favour of liberty of thought; censorship, with a presumption in favour of thought control.
Nicely written i feel.

Thought Flow of a Confused Mind.
The guy who said "Ignorance is a Bliss" must have 'known it all'. Ignorance indeed is a bliss. Agreed that knowledge does bring power but then like all good things it has its own setbacks....
On our path to "attain" knowledge, we, invariably, have to cross those dangerous terrains called "moments of truth" . These are the moments where the words start flowing from the person 'imparting' that elusive knowledge to us.
Words, which can shatter our whole belief System. Words, which make us realize that may be the people around us are not what they seem to be. Words, which could lead us to question the whole existence of anything and everything around us.
It would really be foolish of us to think that all the "knowledge" is infact NEEDED by us. Coz not every little revelation is a happy one and not every heartfelt confession is a memorable you see. Some knowledge is best tagged as "Worlds Best Kept Secret". In our quest to know more, we might end up having some serious doubts about the credibility of the things that we Already Know.
Our "Belief System" or rather, I would like to refer it to as our "Survival System" epends on OUR perception of things, people, incidents, happenings, surroundings..... So what fun is it that we let our system crumble and collapse merely under the pressure of things that may not be too pleasant to know.
But on a second thought, what we already know may not be the true version of the entire story. Our perception of things need not necessarily be the right one. Blame it on our inexperience, smartness of the other person in concealing it, or barely our foolishness. But the bottom line is that the truth is not what we know. The truth is hidden somewhere else, in someone's memories, someone's heart, someone's mind... And we know that for sure. We know that what we know is not what it is !!!! Period.
So where does this quest stop ? Do we go for a kill and dig out the whole trut ? Or do we let the buried skeletons rest in peace ? But then again, doesn't it change the concept of "truth" ? Doesn't it become subjective? What I know is my truth, what you know is your truth ? Is that how is should be ? So what is truth after all ? And a million dollar question -> Do we REALLY need to know it ?
